It took me several attempts to get this information across to Jordan as he was being very rude and interruptive saying that this was just their claims process, to which I replied… Then someone needs to change the claims process because, in my opinion, it makes people not want to rent from Enterprise and his attitude was atrocious. I was attempting to explain to him that if this letter was sent to someone without my resources, such as my son who is a prosecutor and my daughter-in-law, who is an attorney, they might be very intimidated by this letter and that I felt it should not have been sent out until responsibility for payment was determined. I started to explain the situation to Jordan when he consistently interrupted me. She told me that all supervisors were at lunch but she would have me speak with the person above her, Jordan Barnett. I then told her that I felt that enterprise should not send out a letter like this until they had checked to make sure who was responsible for the claim and that it made one not want to rent from enterprise if that’s the way one is treated. Emily took the time to listen, then call Allstate and report back to me that, indeed, that Allstate was accepting responsibility for the claim. Upon receipt of this letter I called into the damage recovery unit and talked with Mickey who told me my claims manager was Corkie Hicks but she was not accepting calls and she would contact someone on the team… Which was Emily. Today I received a letter dated 1/13/20 with the first line stating: ‘Our review indicates that you are responsible for the damage to our vehicle’ and enclosing an invoice for $4736.98. After not hearing anything from that unit for a few weeks I contacted them and was told that the $500 would be forthcoming shortly. I paid the $500 deductible that my insurance, Liberty Mutual, specified and was told that after review by the damage recovery unit that this $500 would be refunded. I was rear ended in my enterprise vehicle on 12/20/19 and approximately a week later I received a call saying that Allstate had accepted 100% responsibility on behalf of their insured. I had rented a car from enterprise in McDonough Georgia, and that office is always terrific! My complaint is based on a conversation with Jordan Barnett from the damage recovery unit.

I even asked if someone out of Louisville could bring me a car, but no was the answer to that. And when I called your customer service number the young man, William was nice but offered no solution. Don't rent what you don't have, it is as simple as that. The reason for the reservation was that I had plans as many others who were there to visit with family and now my plans had been banished as I am on vacation this week and cannot travel because of whatever reason other than your branch not being prepared. I asked about what was available and was offered a full-size pickup truck which I declined as that would have doubled the amount I would have paid for fuel. I know that times are trying these days but come on the reservation was made with ample time to have vehicles to rent. Just image my disappointment when I arrived to be told we do not have your requested vehicle or nothing similar to offer you.
